Tony Faulds - Safety Officer
​

Professional engineer having lived and worked or just professionally visited many countries round the world. Recently retired after having been in Europe for 14 years and now returned home. Only recently took up the sport of archery and now on the path of improvement. Have qualifications in Safety Management, Project Management and am a licenced Root Cause Analysis Practitioner all of which lends my skills to the position as Safety Officer of the club.

The role focuses on all aspects of safety within the club to ensure that members and visitors enjoy a safe environment at the venue(s) we use. To implement statutory requirements of a private sports club as per the guidelines of the national governing body (Archery GB). Conduct and manage risk assessments and manage safety policy of the club including accident reporting, first aid policy, and communicating with the members over safety issues and policies.
