Beginner Courses and Taster Sessions – Inspiring Interest and Engagement!
This year’s Archery for Beginners Courses have been a great success, attracting enthusiastic participation and fantastic results! Over six courses, 38 people joined in, with 15 already becoming members - that’s a 40% conversion rate from their very first archery experience. We’re excited to see a few more likely to join in the coming weeks.
Taster Sessions Welcome New Archers
In addition to the Archery for Beginners Courses, we ran 13 Archery Taster Sessions, including support for St Martin’s School’s popular WOW Day, when 100 pupils had their first go at archery.
These sessions brought together a diverse range of groups and individuals, giving around 145 people their first taste of the sport. The impressive turnout highlights the strong interest and enthusiasm for archery in our community.

We extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped organise, support, and lead the Taster Sessions and Beginner Courses. Your dedication has introduced dozens of new people to archery and strengthened our welcoming community.
