59th Silver Dollar Double American (UK Record Status) Competition

As in previous years, the event will be open to all archers affiliated with Archery GB or a World Archery member association, offering a fantastic day of friendly competition and community spirit.
Age Groups: Archery GB age groups: Men, Women.
Juniors may enter this tournament but must shoot as seniors.
Bow Types: Barebow, Compound, Longbow, Recurve.
Judges: Mr Adam Doughty (Head Judge) and Mr Gary Jones
Distance Class: Double American (UK Record Status). A single American (60yds, 50yds, 40yds) round will be shot in the morning with a further single American round shot in the afternoon.
Junior archers are welcome to take part, but they will be shooting the full American round distances. Juniors wishing to enter will pay the full senior entry fee.
Registration: Registration opens at 08:30hrs. Sighters at 09:30hrs.
Event format: Targets are layered foam (with target nappies if required) with 122cm target faces. Archery GB Imperial Outdoor Rounds 5 Zone Scoring.
The maximum number of archers on a target shall be four. The archers on each target shall be designated A-B, C-D, in the order in which they appear on the target list. The order of shooting at all Record Status Tournaments shall rotate.
Archers will shoot ends of six arrows under Method 2 of the Rules of Shooting - timed ends controlled by audible signals supplemented with lights and countdown timing clocks.

Closing Date: 17th May 2026
Awards: Special Commemorative Silver Dollars will be awarded to 1st place, club medals for 2nd and 3rd places per gender and division (bow style).
